In a role where chaos can erupt at any moment, CQuence Health’s Director of IT, Nate Tippets, never lets anything get him riled.
Since joining the company 20 years ago, Nate has continually proven himself to be a valuable asset to the organization and its IT infrastructure.
“Congratulations to Nate on his 20th work anniversary! It’s a milestone that reflects not just his tenure, but the steady management and commitment he’s demonstrated,” said Randy Wobig, Chief Information Officer at CQuence. “Over the years, Nate has been a reliable influence for the IT team, our employees and the company as a whole. His calm approach and consistency have helped guide the team through significant change, and his adaptability and flexibility continue to make a positive impact.”
Despite his long tenure, Nate continues to think outside the box and develop improvements for the company and its employees.
“One of the things I’ve always respected most about Nate is his genuine curiosity and drive to keep learning,” said Randy. “Even after two decades, he’s never stopped looking for ways to improve our systems, our processes, and how IT supports our employees and the businesses. That mindset has strengthened our IT operations and infrastructure and set a great example for everyone who’s worked with him.”

Nate is someone who leads with guidance rather than spotlight, a quality Mark Peterson has experienced firsthand.
“What Nate may not realize is the profound impact he’s had on my career,” said Mark, Senior Systems Administrator. “Over a decade ago, when I was working as a Field Support Specialist at Cassling, Nate suggested I consider IT as a career path, and that simple comment became the catalyst for my entire shift in direction. His guidance and steady leadership have made a lasting difference, and I’m grateful for the influence he’s had on both my professional journey and personal growth.”
Nate’s poise has even inspired some lighthearted stories from the team.
“I thought I saw Nate stressing out one time, but it turned out he just needed to sneeze,” said Phil Clifton, Senior Systems Administrator. “Couldn’t be happier to work for someone so cool-headed. I hope to never play him at chess.”
For two decades, Nate has been the steady heartbeat of CQ’s IT world, quietly solving problems, guiding colleagues and somehow staying unflappable through it all. We’re lucky to have him, grateful for the difference he makes and excited to see what he’ll conquer next.
