Reaching a 20‑year milestone at CQuence Health is an accomplishment worth celebrating. But what makes this anniversary especially meaningful is the impact Senior Accountant Jolene Mathews has had throughout those two decades. Over the years, she’s built a strong reputation by embodying our cultural beliefs and strengthening our financial operations.
“Jolene is one of those people whose impact is felt every day, even when it’s not always visible,” said Mike Haywood, Chief Financial Officer. “She solves problems before they become problems, supports others without being asked and genuinely cares about doing things the right way. That kind of consistency is rare and incredibly valuable.”
That sense of steadiness is echoed by those who work with her daily. As teams evolve and responsibilities shift, Jolene has become a trusted resource for navigating new challenges.
“Jolene and I started processing payroll about two years ago, and what I’ve learned from her is that she has a way of asking key valuable questions to get clear,” said Trisha Christensen, Lead Senior Accountant. “She does an excellent job of explaining processes and working through complex challenges. I’ve enjoyed learning and processing payroll with her. Congratulations on 20 years!”
Her long-tenured colleagues also point to her willingness to collaborate and offer insights, underscoring the consistency in her character and the care she brings to every interaction.
“It has been truly wonderful working with Jolene over the years. Twenty to be exact. She has been a tremendous asset to the company, contributing so much through her work, especially in her collaboration with our partner companies,” said Lisa Morris, retired Senior Accounting Analyst. “Since she first joined the organization, there have been many changes, and she has adapted to each one with ease and professionalism.
“On a more personal note, our paths actually crossed long before she started here. She and her parents lived right across the street from me for about eight years, so I saw her fairly often back then.”
