Entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey. Whether you’re launching a startup or scaling a business, challenges await at every turn. It helps to have someone who understands the struggles and who can provide guidance along the way.
That’s why we created Summit.
CQuence Health hosted our first-ever Summit this summer to connect leaders from across our holdings and portfolio. The event facilitated best practice sharing between our portfolio of healthcare innovators and helped them glean insights from industry experts and thought leaders.
Summit attendees included individuals from across CQuence’s portfolio of healthcare companies, all of whom are united in our mission to shape the future of healthcare: Kada Health, DocPanel, Intercept Telehealth, Interlink AI, Mikroscan and WasteMedX.
This day-long networking and educational seminar offered a range of topics, from sales and leadership development to creating organizational processes for growth and managing needs across the business lifecycle.
The event also provided our portfolio entrepreneurs with an opportunity to hear from inspirational leaders like Creighton University women’s volleyball head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth and Home Instead co-founder Paul Hogan.
Booth, a three-time National Coach of the Year, highlighted delegation, communication and building resilience as key to unlocking potential and achieving peak performance on a team.
“Of all things that I’ve learned is that you can’t overcommunicate…under-communicating is the kiss of death in any sort of leadership.” -Kirsten Bernthal Booth, Head Coach, Creighton University Women’s Volleyball
As a successful entrepreneur who created Home Instead in 1994 alongside his wife, Lori, Hogan shed light on how vital business elements like training, trust and culture helped prime their global franchise for a $2 billion acquisition in 2021.
“Just keep doing things the way you do them. Stay aligned with what you’ve told people your values are, and you’re going to have culture.” -Paul Hogan, Co-Founder, Home Instead
“From start to finish, Summit went on seamlessly,” said Diego Reino, MD, founder of Intercept Telehealth. “Not only was I able to meet other entrepreneurs in the healthcare space, I also walked away with valuable insights, knowledge and inspiration. As a trained physician, I value the mentorship provided in the aspects of running a business that will help move our company forward.”
Summit is just one of the ways CQuence Health delivers value to our holdings and portfolio companies. Our approach to investment is more than just financial; we provide strategic guidance and professional services to help companies take their business success to new heights.
