Vice President
Dan Gordon is Vice President of CQuence Health Group and responsible for strategy, customer experience, marketing and communications across CQuence and its business units, Cassling and Ensocare. Dan has lead a career across various businesses and industries, including advertising, revenue cycle management, telecommunications, customer experience management and healthcare. Dan has also started, operated and sold several businesses.
He is a graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance and Business Economics and a minor in Psychology. In addition to being a fitness junkie, Dan spends his free time with his wife chasing their three boys around the country to watch their sporting events.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mike Cassling is CEO of CQuence Health Group, formed in 2011 to provide shared services and strategic direction for its partner companies: Cassling, a diagnostic medical equipment sales and service provider for more than 30 years, and Ensocare, a care coordination software company. Mike and CQuence Health Group also oversee a healthcare investment portfolio.
In addition to his role with CQuence, Mike provides primary leadership as Chairman and CEO of Cassling. He joined the team in 1985, working alongside his father and Company Founder, Bob Cassling. Mike worked in sales, serving as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, before being appointed President of the company in 1996.
Under his leadership, CQuence and its partner organizations have earned multiple honors and awards, including:
Mike holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in general accounting and marketing. He completed the Graduate School of Sales and Marketing at Syracuse University in 1992.
Mike is active in the Omaha community as an Ak-Sar-Ben Governor and serving on the Board of Directors for The Salvation Army, Omaha Symphony, Omaha Community Foundation, Omaha Performing Arts, Bellevue University (Chair) and Omaha Sports Commission.
Nationally, he serves on the Broadway Dreams Executive Committee and on The Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board executive committee. Mike is an Omaha “40 under 40” alumnus, was recognized in 2014 and 2010 with an Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is a Westside High School Hall of Fame honoree. Mike has two daughters, Megan and Kaila; his wife, Elizabeth, has two sons, Gage and JT.
Chief Financial Officer and VP Operations
Steve Chambers is Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for CQuence Health Group and for its partner companies which include: Cassling, a diagnostic medical equipment and services company; and Ensocare, a leading provider of care coordination software solutions. In his role, he is responsible for accounting, financial reporting and financial planning. Steve also evaluates mergers, acquisitions and investments for CQuence’s growing portfolio of healthcare organizations.
Steve joined the company in 1990 and before that worked in public accounting for Deloitte & Touche, where he earned his Certified Public Accountant certification. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting degree, with Distinction, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Steve is a passionate and active volunteer with several youth mentoring organizations. He currently mentors a child through the Teammates school-based mentoring program and serves on the Millard Teammates Board of Directors.
Chief of Staff
Kyle Salem, Ph.D. is Chief of Staff at CQuence Health Group. As Chief of Staff, Dr. Salem spends his time on healthcare strategy, aligning CQuence’s partner companies to the future of healthcare and helping to lead the organizations’ overall growth and development.
Dr. Salem maintains active roles in both partner companies. He currently serves as President of Cassling, which sells and services Siemens Healthineers diagnostic medical imaging equipment, and he sits on the board of directors for Ensocare, a care coordination software solution.
He has a passionate interest in the future model of care coordination, payment reform and new technologies in healthcare delivery. He routinely speaks to healthcare clinicians and professionals on topics related to the shifting healthcare landscape.
Dr. Salem graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where he also earned his doctorate in 2002. Dr. Salem served as a research scientist for Siemens Medical Solutions, where he managed U.S. research collaborations at nationally known facilities such as Duke University, Emory University, University of California – Davis, University of Texas – Southwestern, Princeton University, and the National Institute for Mental Health. He joined Cassling in 2005 as Director of Clinical Imaging Technology and was promoted to Vice President of Advanced Imaging and Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. While at Cassling, he completed the Kellogg Management Institute at the Kellogg School of Management.
He currently serves on the board of Jelecos, a managed IT services company, and contributes to a number of community and arts organizations through either board participation or donated time to lead strategic planning efforts.
VP Human Resources
Bruce Stec is Vice President of Human Resources for CQuence Health Group and its partner companies, which include: Cassling, a diagnostic medical equipment and services company; and Ensocare, a leading provider of care coordination software solutions. Bruce is responsible for aligning organizational goals and objectives with human resource programs and projects to ensure a unified culture throughout all CQuence partner companies.
Bruce joined CQuence in 2013 with nearly 20 years of human resources management and consulting experience. At CQuence, Bruce has implemented innovative performance management tools and the company’s first-ever formal leadership development program. Under Bruce’s leadership, CQuence has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally for its award-winning workplace culture and wellness programs. The organization has been ranked in the top 10 of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare for four straight years.
Bruce graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and has earned both his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certification and his Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification. He was named SHRM Nebraska’s Human Resource Professional of the Year in 2015.
He contributes his time and talent as a board member for several local organizations, including the Human Resource Association of the Midlands and CASA for Douglas County.
Chief Information Officer
Randy Wobig is Chief Information Officer for CQuence Health Group and its partner companies which include: Cassling, a diagnostic medical equipment and services company; and Ensocare, a leading provider of care coordination software solutions. In his role, Randy oversees all corporate information technology, as well as facility planning and management, for the organization.
Randy joined Cassling, one of CQuence’s partner companies in 1999 as a Clinical Network Specialist. He was promoted to Director, Clinical Applications, and later to Vice President of Services, where he managed Cassling’s applications support, PACS service support, and project managers. Randy transitioned to the role of Chief Information Officer in January of 2010.
Before joining the Cassling team, Randy spent 14 years gaining hands-on diagnostic imaging and digital imaging systems management experience at Nebraska Medicine (formerly Nebraska Health Systems). He had eight years of experience working with the Hospital and Radiology Information Systems (HIS/RIS) teams. Randy also held a courtesy faculty appointment for teaching in the College of Allied Health Professions.
He is a graduate of UNMC’s College of Allied Health Professions with an associate’s degree in radiography and a bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography. He also served as a founding member and Vice President of the UNMC Radiation Science Technology Education Alumni Chapter. He continues to be active in the UNMC College of Allied Health Alumni Association.
