CQuence Health Group Earns WELCOA Well Workplace AwardOmaha, Neb: CQuence Health Group recently received the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) Gold award for workplace wellness. This is the fifth time CQuence has been recognized by WELCOA; the previous award, Platinum, was received in 2011.

“Since beginning our wellness program in 2000, our vision has always been to make this effort an integral part of our culture, not just another benefit,” said CQuence President and CEO Mike Cassling.

WELCOA describes the Gold award as “[recognition of] companies that have successfully built comprehensive worksite wellness initiatives and are demonstrating and documenting concrete outcomes.” The WELCOA application process uses seven key benchmarks for results-oriented workplace wellness programs: capturing Chief Executive Officer support; creating cohesive wellness teams; collecting data to drive health efforts; carefully crafting an operations plan; choosing appropriate interventions; creating a supportive environment; and, carefully evaluating outcomes.
